What's the PRIcE of registration?
Early Bird Registration (March 1 - April 15) - Single rider = $60
Early Bird Group Registration - 4 riders or more at same time = $55
Advance Registration (April 16 - July 31) - Single rider = $70
Advance Group Registration - 4 riders or more at same time = $65
Regular Registration (August 1 - August 22) - Single rider = $80
Regular Group Registration - 4 riders or more at same time = $75
Day of Ride Registration (August 24) = $90 (on-site only) - if available!
Please note that the processing fees associated with Eventbrite registration will be added to the above at time of registration. To offset this surcharge, we have greatly reduced our rider registration fees for the 2024 ride!
Group registration for the 2024 IFF will be available again this year. Reduced rates are available for groups of 4 or more that register at the same time.
May I register and ride with a team?
What's included with my registration?
This year’s registration fees include a SAG supported ride, an Iron Furnace Fifty T-shirt (guaranteed for those registered by August 10), a post ride catered lunch that includes free beer!, attended rest stops with snacks, drinks, pickle juice and porta potties. Complimentary ice cream from Chesapeake Bay Farms at rest stop #2 will also be available for all registered riders! Further information will be available as we get closer to ride day. Please note that there is a “no refunds” policy in effect.
Is there same-day registration?
Last year’s event was almost sold out, so day of ride registration may not be available. Further information will be posted as the 2024 ride day gets closer.
How will I know I registered?
When you register on Eventbrite you will receive an email stating you have successfully registered for the 2024 Iron Furnace Fifty. The email will require you to review a waiver form that must be completed before you ride.
Waivers will be available at registration on ride day.
Do I have to check-in before I can ride?
Yes, all participants are required to check in and sign safety waivers prior to beginning their ride. Check-in will take place 7:00AM - 9:00AM at Furnace Town on Saturday, August 24th.
Can I switch the route I ride?
You can decide which of the three routes you want to ride when you check-in on August 24th. We strongly encourage all riders to follow the mapped route. The route has specific locations for the rest stops and restroom facilities.
All routes begin and end at Furnace Town.

Parking is available in the Furnace Town Historic Site parking lot.
What time does the event end?
Registration: 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
Lunch will be served from 10:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
SAG support will be available until 2:30 p.m.
Do I need to complete the course by a specific time?
For your safety, we ask that all riders plan to complete their ride by 2:00 p.m.
SAG assistance will be available by cell phone until 2:30 p.m.
